Happiness Farms' Spring Caladium Giveaway

It's that time of year again for Happiness Farms' Spring Caladium Giveaway to two lucky gardeners.

Last year's two lucky gardeners were Siesta Sister and Kay from My Garden Path. You can see which caladiums they chose and how they used them in our Caladium Happiness post. I can't wait to see who will win this year.

  2. The Florida Fantasy are my favorite! Its amazing that I visited this blog today, because I remembered reading your posts from last year about caladiums. While at Lowe's today I saw they had a small selection of them, but wanted to find the source you referred to on your site! Anyhow.. I'm crossing my fingers on this one!

  5. What a wonderful giveaway and a great idea. The Florida cardinal jumbo caladiums are magnificent and such a wonderful shade of red. They are all so beautiful, it was a difficult choice. Any of the caladiums add something special to your garden!

  8. I like the Florida Fantasy Caladium. It brings a feeling of coolness into the Florida Garden which is often Hot. I do enjoy all varieties though as I enjoy the diversity of their show.

I love Miss Muffet for its compactness and the tolerance to the sun. It will look so lovely in my partial sun flower bed with its its Chartreuse and red color combination.

How happy I am to have found your blogsite this am, and I love, love, love Caladiums. I had many in my garden that grew huge and beautifully, but then a combination of too cold winters, watering restrictions, and illness caused me to lose almost all of them. My favorite was always Frieda Hemplke and Candida. The reds are amazing and the whites so cooling. Hope to get my collection back up to par this year and welcome this amazing giveaway!

  13. The following folks have sent me an email noting their favorite caladium:

Charlett Busigin - Rosebud is my favorite caladium. And it sure is hard to chose!

Joseph Evans - I have been in Florida full time for 22 years now
and one of my first visits was to see the caladiums in Lake Placid.
One of my favorite variaties is the lance leaf kind in the Florida sweetheart and the rosalie.

JoAnn Neil - June Bride is my favorite this year. I am always looking for something to light up the darkness and this variety definately fits the bill. I love anything white and the contrast with the little bit of deep green is gorgeous.

Amy Parnell - It is definitely difficult to choose one favorite Caladium variety, but I think I have to go with Miss Muffet Dwarf. Beautiful!

Martin Ratliff - The "Florida Cardinal"
