YAY for Joseph and Amy! Can't wait to see how they use them. Mine are coming up just now and giving their wonderful color to the garden.
What a treat for Joseph and Amy! I wonder if Caladiums will show up early like everything else this year?
Susan, the orange flowers you admired on my blog header at Seedscatterer is Flowering Pomegranate/ Punica granatum 'Madame Legrelle' -- a plant so old that nobody grows it any more. It's bare in winter, boring green the rest of the year except for a few weeks in spring when it has those beautiful orange and white carnation-like flowers and shiny orange buds. It makes no fruit.
